Somewhere in northern Iowa:
Just before sunset the corn takes on patterns. Then, in the west the sun sets a textbook golden fire color, while simultaneously in the east a full moon rises.
Have the photos gotten tedious?
I am reminded of the joke about the game show prizes. “First prize, one week in Springfield. Second prize, two weeks in Springfield.” The beauty of this area can be breathtaking, and I do love coming back for a visit, but I could never live here again.
