Much much later, like after I get the floor clean, I can google for pumpkin bread, pumpkin soup, etc. Maybe I should just freeze the pumpkin for now, or maybe I should sample it first to see if it’s edible. Maybe I should grab the seeds and bake them too.
My spies tell me there is no pumpkin in the stores due to a poor harvest; the only people making pumpkin pie this year are those who have canned pumpkin left over from last year. (I have seen plenty of the greenish-orangish odd-lobed calabeza though and it’s not cheap.)
